Zu der Restaurierung zählen die komplette Stimmung inklusive Reinigung der Zungen, Kontrolle der Nietverbindungen, Einstellung der Ansprache und neuen Volllederventilen sowie die Komplettüberarbeitung der Mechaniken. Das Instrument ist trotz der professionellen Nutzung extrem gepflegt und erscheint unberührt. Stimmplatten und Stimmzungen sind wie die schöne Oberfläche mit dem aufwendigen Volldekor in einem exzellenten Zustand. Der "Pharao" ist in Klang, Ansprache und Kraft ein außerge-wöhnliches Instrument in jeder Hinsicht. Es kann dominierend kraftvoll sowie zart und nah sein. Es hat einen geraden, deutlichen Klang und trotzdem diese Tiefe, die geheimnisvoll bleibt. The "Pharaoh" was completely carefully restored by me in 2015. The restoration includes the complete tuning including cleaning of the reeds, checking of the rivet joints, adjustment of the response and new full leather valves as well as the complete overhaul of the mechanics. The instrument is extremely well maintained and appears untouched despite professional use. Reedplates and reeds are in excellent condition, as is the beautiful finish with the intricate full decoration. The "Pharaoh" is in sound, response and power an exceptional instrument in every respect. It can be dominantly powerful as well as delicate and close. It has a straight, clear sound and yet this depth that remains mysterious.
