| Das nachträgliche Hinzubauen von Extratönen ist möglich, jedoch möchte ich abraten. Nach meiner Erfahrung stehen der Aufwand und die irreversible Veränderung eines integren Instrumentes in keinem Verhältnis zum Ergebnis, vor allem nicht in Bezug auf Klang und Ansprache. Nachträglich hinzugefügte Töne auf Einzeltonstimmplatten (vergleichbar im Akkordeon) fügen sich klanglich nicht befriedigend in die typische Klangcharakteristik der durchgehenden Stimmplatten des Bandoneons ein. So sind zum Beispiel in einem original 152-Tönigen Instrument die zusätzlichen Töne in der Mechanik und auf den Stimmplatten integral und erweitern das Instrument typisch und authentisch. ... siehe auch Umbauten, also das Verändern oder Hinzufügen von anderen Tönen auf die bestehenden Originalplatten, ist jedoch mit gutem Ergebnis möglich. So mache ich integrale Umbauten nach Kundenwunsch meist bei gleichtönigen Bandoneons (Péguri-System). Zum Beispiel: Wegnahme von 6 hohen Tönen (g#', a', a#', h', c'', c#'') auf den Originalplatten eines gleichtönigen AA-Bandoneons (Peguri-System) und Einfügen von fehlenden tiefen Tönen (zum Beispiel: C/C#, D, D#, E, F). Das herausgefallene g#' wurde in diesem Fall seperat angebaut.

In my experience, the effort and the irreversible change of an integral instrument are out of proportion to the result, especially not in terms of sound and response. Subsequent tones on single-tone reeds (comparable to accordion) do not sound satisfactorily fit into the typical sound characteristics of the Bandoneon's one piece solid reed plates. In an original 152-tone instrument, for example, the additional tones in the mechanics and on the reed plates are integral and extend the instrument in a typical and authentic way ... see more Conversions, i.e. changing or adding other tones to the existing original one piece solid reed plates is possible with good results. So I do integral conversions according to customer requirements mostly on unisonor bandoneons (Peguri system). For example: The takeaway of 6 treble notes (g#', a', a#', h', c'', c#'') at the left hand on original plates of an unisonor AA bandoneon (Peguri) and fitting in 5 missing low notes C/C#, D, D#, E, F. The missing g#' in this case was added seperately.
